Our review on Mirenesse 24 Hour Liquid Eyeliner

A huge positive factor of this liquid eyeliner is that it has two different sides:

  • A thin side – ideal for precise work and outlines
  • A thick side – great for bold looks or filling in

This makes the product effective, efficient, and effortless to use and experiment with to enhance your makeup skills.

Pair this with the fact that this product is smudge, transfer, oil, and humidity-proof. It’s also long-lasting, and the formula is made with organic coconut juice and glycerine (hydrating, moisturizing, soothing, and anti-irritating for the skin).

There is no confusion as to why this eyeliner earned a 5-star rating!

The product also lasts exceptionally long. You are given a generous amount, so you do not use it all up too quickly, and it does not dry up in the tube.

This is fantastic for people who may not wear liquid eyeliner every day and only use it for special occasions. This is one of my main go-to makeup products, and I would highly recommend it, especially if you have sensitive eyes and skin.

  • 2 in 1 felt tip eyeliner
  • Smudge, Transfer, Oil & Humidity Proof
  • Formula made with high-quality ingredients

Our review on Tattoo Studio

This eyeliner is an absolute win!

It is richly pigmented, goes on smoothly upon application, lasts the whole day, and is so easy to remove – and for under $10, it feels like a steal!

The felt-tip brush makes application simple and assists in creating thin and straight lines. Even beginner makeup users will be able to perfect their skills with this product.

The formula is very dark and makes for a bold black eye look. Also, Tattoo Studio eyeliner does not fade or smudge throughout the day, even if you sweat or have an oily skin type.

Although it is wearable all day and stays on the eyes, the brilliant thing about this Tattoo Studio eyeliner is that it is super easy to remove too. Any makeup remover or makeup wipe will do the job, and the eyeliner will easily peel off the lid, leaving no dreaded panda eyes to wake up to the next morning.

The singular and only downfall of this product is that the tube is relatively small and therefore it takes less time to use up than other, bigger products. However, it is fairly cheap and won’t break the bank if you need to buy it slightly more often.

All in all, this product is amazing and completely recommended.

Highlights of Perversion by Urban Decay

  • Lasts all-day
  • Easy to use, even for beginners
  • Does not fade or smudge

Our review on Great Lash by Maybelline New York

This eyeliner is fantastic for easily defining your eyes in seconds.

The small precision tip is easy to maneuver to create thin or thicker lines for whatever look you are aiming for, and it is crafted with makeup felt so that it will not fray or blunt. It dries quickly after application and therefore is great for building more color on top and won’t smudge if you blink or open your eyes after applying.

The product actually comes with easy-to-follow instructions on how to create different eyeliner looks and “pro tips” for using it, so whether you are skilled and experienced with makeup or not, this liquid eyeliner will be a good fit for you.

Aesthetica Liquid Liner also comes in different colors (black and brown tones) for any occasion, makeup look, or skin tone.

Aye Aye Captain eyeliner by W7

Our review on Aye Aye Captain liquid eyeliner

For the low price, this is a great product.

The product is a jet-black color that perfectly outlines and defines your eyes. Additionally, it stays on all day with no touch-ups needed.

This eyeliner product is perfect for a night out, a long workday, or any occasion that requires your makeup to be smudge-free and look fabulous for hours.

It also comes off well with makeup remover and does not leave traces of it behind to cause a skin breakout, which is super handy and makes you wear this eyeliner every day without hassle.

The only small problem with this product is that the brush does dull after a couple of weeks of using it, making it more difficult to draw thin and precise lines. While this may be frustrating, if you happen to have another makeup brush to use when the product’s one dulls, this is a fabulous and versatile liner.

Highlights of Aye Aye Captain

  • Affordable
  • Great for day or night
  • Does not smudge
  • Easy to remove

Guide on How To Apply an Amazing Winged Eyeliner in minutes

Winged eyeliner can be so difficult to do and get right, especially for beginner makeup users! Thankfully, you can use this helpful and concise guide to help you do perfect wings in minutes.

1. Choose your favorite eyeliner

Winged eyeliner guide: Select your favorite liquid eyeliner
First, start by choosing the eyeliner you want to use. You can use a pencil, gel, or liquid liner- I opted for liquid because I find it easiest to work with, especially when making thin straight lines.

A pencil is better for a smokey eye look, though, as it is better for blending. You can use any color, but black or brown is most common. Pink, white, blue, and other bright colors can be fun and intriguing for a night out or rave look, though.

I used the Tattoo Studio eyeliner by Maybelline that I previously reviewed above.

2. Draw a straight line

Winged eyeliner guide: Begin by drawing straight line
Begin your winged eyeliner look by drawing a straight line going upwards and slightly slanted from the outer corner of your eye. This line needs to be as long as you want your eyeliner wing to be. It can range from very short for just, and cheeky kitten flick looks to a long, bold winged eye.

3. Connect the top to the inner eye corner

From there, connect the top of the line to the inner corner of your eye with a straight line. It should look like this when your eye is closed:

And it should look like this if your eye is open:

This line does not have to be overly neat, as we will come back and fill in the rest of the wing and clean up.

4. Begin filling the wing

Winged eyeliner guide: Fill in the wing
Go ahead and fill in your wing with liner. You can go over it twice to make it darker if you need. In this step, add any other characteristics to your wing that you may need, such as an inner corner outline for a more cat-eye shape, outer corner fill in, or thicker wing. These extra add-ons can make your eye makeup look more unique, help you stand out, or assist you in fitting in with a certain style (e.g., goth, preppy, professional, etc.).

5. Clean up for a finished look

Winged eyeliner guide: Last step, clean up and finish
Lastly, clean up any messy lines and add your mascara/false lashes. The lashes complete the makeup look and help your eyes look bolder, as you can definitely tell by this demonstration.

This quick and easy guide should help you master your winged eyeliner skills in minutes but remember, above all: practice makes perfect.
